Cat Picture of the Day
Although this cat isn't actually up for adoption, his saucy demeanor and downright cuteness remind us why looking after our feline friends is so important.
Would this be a strong "abstract" picture for a blog about adopting pets?
I don't find this the best picture to use if advertising adoption. To me at least, this picture does not have emotional appeal and does not indicate any trace of being in need of a home. It seems just a random picture with little thought to it accomplishing a need for adoption. And with a white background, it is visually dull.
I don't think this is a very provoking picture to make a reader want to adopt a cat. Sure, we all know cats are cute and cuddly, but this digitized photo does not show the cat in need of a home.
Actually, not so much. The image is minuscule when compared to the white space and the copy. It's particularly important to give a visual that the audience can relate to the copy. I also think the alignment is poor. Rather than centering the image, is should be left justified.
